interprets, and translates the needs of operational areas and
matches them to the capabilities of the data and analytics teams.
Serves as a business subject matter expert and a liaison between
operational areas and the data and analytics teams to ensure
forward progress on system initiatives. Job Duties: Interprets and
documents business needs to support the development of analytics
solutions. Analyzes data, interprets results, and outlines
opportunities using analytical techniques and contributes to the
ongoing strategy. Collaborates and communicates with assigned
customers/end users. Evaluates and understands assigned business
processes, challenges, and goals. Supports all facets of assigned
project(s) through the project life cycle. Maintains and enhances
professional competency. Performs other related duties as required.
Travel as needed to New Orleans worksite 1 or 2 times per month, or
more depending on the needs of the work. Employer: Ochsner Clinic
Foundation Geographic area of employment: New Orleans, LA. May work
remotely in U.S. but must meet physically in New Orleans 1-2 days
per week. Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics,
Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or
biomedical informatics. Experience Required: 60 months as a Data
Consultant, Data Scientist, Analytics Consultant or Data Warehouse
Specialist. Other Requirements:
* Ability to communicate and present data analytics concepts to a
non-technical audience. Experience must have included presenting
data analytics to laypeople orally and in writing.
* At least 24 months coding in R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
* 60 months of experience must be in progressively responsible
