The ideal candidate must be competent and proficient in setting concrete forms, and possess' the following qualities and skills: Ability to read and interpret blue prints Communicative Friendly Detail-oriented Team player Strong Time Management Skills Capable of lifting heavy objects Responsibilities: Perform various physical duties assigned Build forms for concrete piers, footings, and wallsInterpret blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions and detailsAssemble, measure, marks cutting lines, and cut materialsSaws material to required size with handsaws, power saw, or woodworking machineNails cleats (braces) across boards to construct supporting formsBrace forms in place with timbers, tie rods, and anchor boltsErect forms using hand tools, plumb rule, and levelBuilds false workErect and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangwaysPositions, space, secure steel reinforcement in accordance with blue prints using wire and pliersSpread, level, smooth, and finish concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and floatAttend job site safety meetingsMaintain all safety standardsMaintain a clean job site daily:pick-up all tools and equipmentsecure job site eliminate potential hazardsPerforms other duties assigned Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years oldTeam player with a positive attitudePass Pre-employment Assessments (includes BGC, MVR, drug test, & physical)Punctual and reliableMust have the following:Carpenter hand tools/bags (list will be provided during interview)valid driver's licenseTWIC cardsteel toe work bootsreliable transportationthe ability to work in all weatherthe physical ability to complete strenuous tasks the physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions Disclaimer: Cycle Construction Co.
