Job Description:
Qualifications - External Education: High school diploma or GED
certificate. Position Requirements: Formal craft training and three
(3) plus years of related experience, preferably in marine vessel
testing. Ability to read blueprints, shop orders, sketches, and
drawings is necessary to the completion of tasks or work. Must be
able to perform basic (simple) shop mathematics. Must be willing to
work rotating/second shift. Willingness and flexibility to work
extended hours as needed to accomplish the task or work with little
or no prior notification. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMAND REQUIREMENTS:
Physical demands described have been validated by on-site job
analysis. They are representative of the physical demands that must
be met by an employee to successfully and safely perform the
essential functions of this job. The following information is a
synopsis of key physical demand requirements determined from a
detailed job analysis: Postural: Must have the ability to move
extremities and spine throughout a sufficient range of motion that
will permit the employee to work in a variety of postures involving
a range from floor to overhead level. Flexing and twisting of the
trunk and other awkward postures are occasionally required.
Dexterity : Must have a good dexterity and frequently use one and
two hands throughout the work period for tasks involving fingering,
gripping and manipulation. Cardiorespiratory Demand : Must have
sufficient cardiorespiratory fitness to be able to perform medium
work involving heavy lifting. Must be able to safely tolerate
medium demands on the cardiorespiratory system in various
temperature ranges and humidity. General Physical Activities :
Include standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, squatting,
body twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, speaking clearly,
seeing distant/reading, reaching, hearing, depth perception, color
vision, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders,
climbing stairs and balancing. Physical Demand Level - Medium :
Must be able to perform medium physical labor as classified by the
United States Department of Labor. Physical demands typically
involve lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling not to exceed 60

responsible for. A Sr Test Flight Electrician – Lead performs all
tasks associated with electrical/electronic system testing and
maintenance as assigned by management. Responsibilities: Job duties
include but are not limited to: · Being directly available within
the work center to execute the scheduled workload · Inspecting all
work and complying with the required quality inspections during all
manufacturing actions performed by your work center · Inspecting
craft and work center spaces daily for cleanliness and ensuring
they comply with the FOD Prevention Program · Reading and
interpreting drawings, manufacturing technical manuals, directives,
and data · Being fully knowledgeable in Solumina documentation
procedures and codes and able to communicate with clarity and
accuracy · Being conscientious and committed to quality in all
aspects of testing and production · Knowing your people and looking
out for their welfare · Keeping your team informed · Ensuring craft
contain no unnecessary trash, graffiti, markings, tape, labels,
etc. · Perform touch labor tasks as assigned by your supervisor ·
Fill gaps in the event of personnel shortages · Updating your
supervisor on job status · Communicating safety concerns ·
Communicating quality issues and concerns · Communicating work
center and individual productivity concerns · Communicating
behavioral concerns
