IT Project Management (PMO) Intern Location: Pascagoula, MS
Position Overview: The IT Intern supporting IT Project Management
(PMO) assists with IT project delivery by supporting planning,
tracking, reporting, and governance activities across multiple
initiatives. Role Focus: Project coordination, documentation, and
governance support. Key Responsibilities: · Assist with maintaining
project schedules, action items, and status reports · Support
project documentation, templates, and meeting notes · Help track
risks, issues, and dependencies across projects · Assist with
milestone and deliverable reporting · Observe and support project
governance and review meetings Skills Developed: Project
coordination, documentation, risk tracking, PMO best practices.
Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED required. · Must be
currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Skills &
Abilities: · Basic understanding of IT concepts, such as
programming languages, database management, and cybersecurity ·
Basic typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications. · Strong problem-solving skills · Good communication
and interpersonal skills · Ability to interact professionally with
company personnel · Adaptable to new technologies and new
situations · Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage your
workload effectively · Ability to work independently and as part of
a team · Strong desire to learn and improve your skills · Must be
