Position Overview
We are seeking a locum Pain Management & Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide inpatient coverage beginning approximately April 1 in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a low-intensity rounding role with light call responsibilities and a flexible schedule.

• Start Date: April 1

• Licensure: Louisiana license not required to present (can be obtained after acceptance)

• Schedule: Flexible blocks available

• Call: 24-hour call coverage with very minimal callback

• Weekday Rounding: 4 6 hours/day

• Weekend Rounding: 2 3 hours/day

• Setting: Inpatient consultative pain management & rehabilitation

• EMR: Epic

• Inpatient pain management and rehab consults

• Medication management and treatment planning

• Collaboration with hospitalists, specialists, and therapy teams

• Occasional call coverage (primarily phone availability)

• Competitive locums compensation

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, PM&R, or related specialty

• Comfortable with inpatient consultative care

• Seeking low-acuity, predictable coverage with minimal interruptions
