Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel PACU
RN to join our team in Marrero, Louisiana. This position offers the

role involves providing post-anesthesia care to patients recovering
from surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and effective transition
from anesthesia to recovery. This position is ideal for passionate

to top-level nursing care. Monitor post-operative patients' vital
signs, assessing their pain levels and overall comfort. Administer
medications as prescribed by the anesthesiologist and monitor
patients for adverse reactions. Provide education and support to
patients and their families about post-procedure care. Collaborate
with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare
professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Respond to
emergency situations by providing airway management or emergency
resuscitation as required. Document patient care services by
charting in patient and department records. Strong ability to
assess and monitor patient vitals. High proficiency in
administering medications and understanding their effects.
Excellent communication and patient education skills. Ability to
work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. Strong critical
thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of Louisiana. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification
preferred. PALS Certification a plus.
