About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health
to find a qualified OR RN in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70121! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating
Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 3 years in Operating Room specialty, including experience
in peripheral vascular surgery License: Compact or applicable state
license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Must-Have: Epic experience required; experience in neuro, ortho, or
robotics preferred Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware
that upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, their unit
manager may assign them to an "Emergency Team." There will be an
expectation to stay until after the event passes or be part of the
relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed
during each emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing the
travel contract, the traveler accepts these conditions and will
report as assigned by the unit manager if an emergency event
occurs. Travelers should only apply if they are comfortable with
the above expectations. Previous charge experience is required.
This unit does not accept first-time travelers. The facility
requires a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty.
Modules are billable and completed during orientation. NURSYS
Reports for registered nurses must be submitted and must be up to
date. Candidates who have worked as permanent staff or in-house
agency contractors must be separated for one full year before
returning. References from two managers or supervisors will be
required for clearance to start the contract. Charge RNs will not
be accepted for this position. It is a requirement that the
traveler is available for emergencies and can fill in for other
