We are seeking a board-certified Cardiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana starting May 25, 2026. This opportunity features a clinic-based schedule five days a week, with call every 2-3 weekends and flexibility for four-day clinic weeks during non-call periods. The assignment covers a range of non-invasive cardiology cases in both outpatient and ICU settings. Job Details - Location: Louisiana - Start Date: May 25, 2026 - LOA: 120 days - Provider Type Needed: Cardiologist - Schedule: Clinic 5 days a week; open to 4-day clinic weeks on non-call weeks; call every 2-3 weekends; exact shift hours TBD Responsibilities and Duties - Provide outpatient non-invasive cardiology services - Manage ICU cardiology cases - Perform echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) - Conduct nuclear cardiology studies (including Cardiolyte and thallium protocols) - Respond to STEMI cases - Participate in call coverage as scheduled Additional Information - Active Louisiana medical license or IMLC eligibility required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required - Fellowship training in Cardiology required - Board certification in Cardiology required Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
