Unlock your potential here!As an OR Circulator you must be detail oriented, flexible, able to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat, adept with technical skills, a team player, and must have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environment. There are many surgical sub-specialties for learning, including neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, trauma, pediatrics, oncology, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, ear/nose/throat, dental, orthopedics, plastic and reconstructive, and transplant surgery. About this unit:

• 6-bed surgical unit
• Opportunity to work on Ortho, General, Plastics, Eyes, GYN, and ENT cases
• Close-knit, supportive team of leadership and staffResponsibilities:The Registered Nurse - OR Circulator is a professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery and management of patient care. The OR Circulator utilizes the nursing process, the healthcare environment, and current technology to provide a climate which optimizes patient care and staff development.What Qualifications You Will Need:
  • Current Louisiana Licensure as a Registered Nurse, ACLS Certification required within 1 year of employment for assignment on Adult Critical Care Units, Emergency department and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. PALS Certification required within 1 year of employment for assignment in PICU or within 18 mos. of employment for unit-specific standard. Current CPR certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited school preparing Registered Nurses.
  • OR experience required.
