- Is responsible for the development and implementation of
program systems to ensure the provision of quality, comprehensive
care to patients referred to hepatobiliary service requiring the
multidisciplinary coordinated care between hepatobiliary, liver
transplant, oncology and radiology.
- Assumes overall responsibility for the retrieval and review of
clinical data, and facilitates the planning and implementation of a
plan of care within an interdisciplinary team setting.
- Participates in patient and family education about RFA,
chemoembolization procedures, other procedures and surgery options
and will participate in the development of appropriate patient
education tools.
- Ensures that procedures and appointments are carried out in a
timely fashion by monitoring reports and through oversight of
scheduling and interdepartmental communications
- Communicates with referring physicians regarding the patient's
status in all phases of the treatment process.
- Is primary contact for patients and family members of patient
population served and acts as a patient advocate.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of
employment start date
- Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse DiplomaThis role requires you to be fully
