  Med/Surg nurses are the master coordinators of the unit, juggling care for their patients while keeping the entire health care team on the same page. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm under pressure.

  • 74-Bed Med Surg Department -- Great experience for RNs that want to care for a variety for patients
    
  • Various service lines including: acute cardiac care, internal medicine, surgery & urology, and neurological intermediate care
    
  • Amazing team work throughout all levels - Physicians, Leadership, RNs, PCTs
    
    
    Responsibilities:
    
    
    
  • The Registered Nurse is a -professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery and management of patient care. - S/he utilizes the nursing process, the healthcare environment, and current technology to provide a climate which optimizes patient care and staff development.
    
    Qualifications
    
    
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing - - - -
    
  • Current Louisiana or Compact RN license required
    
  • Current BLS
    
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required
