This job assists in procedures competently and professionally,
assures appropriate handling and maintenance of equipment and
supplies, and assures availability of equipment and supplies for
surgical procedures. Scrubs for surgical procedures and performs
other duties as assigned by the RN.EducationRequired - High School
diploma or equivalent and Graduate from an accepted course in
Surgical Technology certification.
Required - NonePreferred -One year experience in a similar medical
Basic analytical experience.
CertificationsRequired - Certification in Surgical TechnologyBasic
Life Support (BLS) through American Heart AssociationKnowledge
Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

- Performs direct patient care duties, including assisting
physicians during procedures
- Assists in the day-to-day operations of the department
- Maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills,
equipment, training and credentials.

- Ensures cleanliness and/disinfection of endoscopes while
maintaining quality control measures
