Job DescriptionThis job provides direct care (including IV therapy) of assigned patients within the framework of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Directs and assists ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties and interacts with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel. Demonstrates professional responsibilities and is responsible for own practice and assists other members of the healthcare team in providing the highest quality personalized patient care. $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS OFFERED WITH 1 YEAR COMMITMENT! This position is full-time but will be travelling to 3 locations with the provider - Kenner, Laplace and Destrehan. The majority of the time will be spent with the provider at the Laplace location. The hours will range from 7:30am-4pm and 8am-5pm. Education Required - High School diploma or equivalent Certifications Required - Current License in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Work Experience Required - Experience working with and maintaining confidential information and working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
