JDP is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and
Marketing to in New Orleans, LA!This pivotal role requires a
candidate with a proven track record in both retail and foodservice
sectors, coupled with a strong background in ingredients. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing
marketing strategies, and building strong relationships within the
industry. Living in New Orleans, LA, provides an exciting

contributing to the growth of our company.Responsibilities:Sales
Leadership: Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets by
developing and executing effective sales strategies. Identify new
business opportunities, build relationships with key accounts, and
negotiate contracts to drive revenue growth.Marketing Strategy:
Develop comprehensive marketing plans to promote our products
effectively in both retail and foodservice channels. Utilize market
research and consumer insights to identify trends and
opportunities, ensuring our brand remains competitive and relevant.
Product Knowledge: Leverage your background in ingredients to
provide expertise on product offerings. Collaborate with R&D
and product development teams to enhance product portfolios and
ensure alignment with market demands.Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retail and
foodservice partners, distributors, and industry influencers. Act
as a brand ambassador, representing our company at industry events,
trade shows, and networking opportunities.Team Development: Provide
leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales and marketing
teams. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture,
empowering team members to achieve their full potential.Market
Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and
market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats. Use
data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive
continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).Proven
experience in sales and marketing roles within the retail and
foodservice industries.Strong background in ingredients, with a
deep understanding of product specifications and
applications.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with
the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all
levels.Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and
executing successful sales and marketing strategies.Leadership
experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate
cross-functional teams.Resides in or willing to relocate to New
Orleans, LA.
