Job Description:

Compliance Specialist & Grants Management - Discovery Health Sciences Schools seeks an experienced Compliance Specialist with Grants Management experience to facilitate the grant process in coordination with the Louisiana and United States Departments of Education. Under the supervision of the CFO, this position will independently develop, manage, and coordinate the entire federal grant application process by locating available funding sources, developing relationships with various funding agencies and disseminating information and reporting to Administration and faculty. An ideal candidate will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and broad-based knowledge of funding agency and budgetary requirements. This position requires a Bachelor's degree. 3 years of grant management, accounting and reporting experience in K-12 education with a history of successful grant application, documented "clean" external audits of grants and ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously are preferred.
