Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available in Metairie, LA, offering a rewarding opportunity to
support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
This contract role requires an active Louisiana DOE certification
and provides 35 hours per week dedicated to making a meaningful
impact in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to
students with special needs. Collaborate with general education
teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure student progress.
Adapt curriculum and instruction methods to meet diverse learning
abilities. Monitor and document student development and communicate
findings regularly. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom
environment fostering student growth. Qualifications and
Experience: Active Louisiana DOE certification in Special
Education. Experience teaching at elementary, middle, or high
school levels. Strong understanding of special education laws and
best practices. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage varying caseloads with a focus on individualized
