Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in
Metairie, LA, this contract position offers an opportunity to
provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school
setting. The assignment runs through the current school year, with
a start date as soon as possible and continuing until May 22, 2026.
Key responsibilities include delivering teletherapy services in
speech-language pathology to students across various grade levels.
Caseload specifics and school assignments will be determined and
shared upon placement. Qualifications and experience sought:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication
Disorders Active state licensure in Louisiana and the state of
residence ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) Minimum of three years
experience working in school settings Proficiency in teletherapy
delivery and technology platforms Prior experience working within
Louisiana schools strongly preferred Successful completion of tech
screening and internal interview process One professional reference
on file Working hours are full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday
through Friday in accordance with the school calendar, typically 7
hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Part-time
consideration is possible depending on availability.
Responsibilities encompass designing and implementing
individualized speech therapy programs, conducting assessments,
progress monitoring, and collaborating with educational staff to
support student communication goals remotely. This role requires
candidates who meet all credentialing and screening requirements
and are prepared for prescreen interviews to assess suitability.
Flexibility in scheduling these interviews is available within
