Who we’re looking for: We have an opportunity for a detail-oriented, highly organized multi-tasker who is highly driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player are also essential to this position! This is a full-time position in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled onsite service shop. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Examines vehicle, diagnoses and, if needed discusses with the Shop Foreman, Manager, or Service Advisor as to the nature and extent of damage or malfunction Communicates additional service requests and properly documents all findings and repairs to the Service Advisor Provides labor time estimates and monitors repair times and gives updates to the Service Advisor Maintains strict adherence to dealership policies, and understands and follows federal, state, and local regulations regarding disposal of hazardous waste, etc. Understands and utilizes dealership computer system(s) Assists technician trainees as needed Keeps current with factory technical bulletins Attend department meetings, as necessary Exude strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Attend company/manufacturer training when necessary Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, & Values in all interactions with customers & co-workers, inside and outside of the office Maintain a clean, pressed, approachable appearance and demeanor, and a neat work area Maintain strict honesty and integrity while performing all job duties Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or GED Must have 3 months related experience and/or training Must have a State Inspection License Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license (you must be insurable) Must maintain a clean, acceptable, and safe driving record Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements, which include a social media check, a drug screen & physical, a background check, and a Motor Vehicle Report Be able to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
