**Financial Analyst** **Description** Job Summary: TheFinancial Analyst will be primarily responsible for performing detailed financial reporting and analysis\.In this role, the Financial Analyst will interact closely with senior and functional management to ensure both the accuracy and currency of advanced Financial Statement modeling in support of monthly updates\. Responsibilities: * Knowledge of financial principles and concepts to implement and maintain the financial systems and controls required to assure compliance with Division and Corporate Policies and Procedures; generally accepted accounting principles; and applicable government regulations and contractual requirements\. * Ability to apply financial principles and concepts to a broad range of financial functions including accounting, planning and control, cash flow management, Government reporting, etc\. * Assist with compilation and analysis of long\-range plans as well as maintaining and coordinating completion of financial templates\. * Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations\. * Understanding and documenting business processes and workflows and their relationships\. * Participate in the scheduling, coordinating, preparation and presentation of financial improvement projects\. * Organize overall cash flow exercises and related planning activities through all levels of the organization\. * Assist in the development and/or provides all financial data and statistics required for presentation to customers, including historical rate data based on experience and long\-range planning, financial statements, written explanations of rate determinations, cost curves and other related data\. * Interface with government auditing agencies, as requested by management * Monitor rates/base projections monthly and advise of corrective actions as necessary\. * Perform other job\-related duties as assigned by management **Qualifications** Education: * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance Position Requirements: **?** **Three \(3\) plus years of related government accounting and/or related accounting experience\.** **?** **Development and maintenance of custom functions and subroutines in Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Access\.** **?** **Creation of complex, presentation caliber charts and figures using Microsoft Office 2016 products\.** **?** **Experience working ProPricer and its data output a plus\.** **?** **Working knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis \(FP&A\) experience as relates to cost and prices development \(direct labor, material through rates and fees\)\.** **?** **Strong analytical and problem solving skills that may be used for transforming defined business needs into processes\.** **?** **Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong project management and excellent interpersonal skills\.** * Thorough knowledge of Finance and Accounting theory and practice and business management\. * Pro\-active, hands\-on self starter who can take tasks from concept to completion with minimal direction\. * Ability to quickly assess and resolve unique complex problems with incomplete/ambiguous data\. **EEO Statement** Textron is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment, to all applicants and employees regardless of, race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, handicap, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law\. **Pay Transparency Policy Statement** The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant\.
