The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting and be proficient in Yardi software, with a proven ability to manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activity for a diverse portfolio of properties. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals and prepayments Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely Track capital expenditures and assist with budgeting and forecasting Work closely with property managers and asset managers to ensure accurate reporting Prepare year-end workpapers and assist with external audits and tax preparation Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards (GAAP) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in a real estate or property management setting Strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager (required) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting principles High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Preferred Skills: Experience with multi-entity or multi-property environments Knowledge of CAM reconciliations and lease abstracting CPA or pursuit of CPA a plus Interested in hearing more?
