Summary of Position:Fortune Fish & Gourmet is a highly
successful seafood processor and specialty food distributor based
in Chicago. The company serves a multitude of clients within the

employees.Fortune Louisiana, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales
Associate specialized in seafood and gourmet sales, to join our
rapidly growing organization. The Outside Sales Associate will
focus on achieving sales within the Baton Rouge, Mandeville, and
Covington LA territories. We are looking for happy, energetic, and
self-motivated individuals to lead the next phase of our growth.
The incumbent's key responsibility is to drive sales activity by
providing outstanding service and solving problems for customers.
This is achieved by working effectively with all stakeholders to
ensure that Fortune's customers are receiving the highest level of
support to facilitate their success.DescriptionExecute the sales
process by implementing the following key steps; develop product
knowledge, prospect, and approach potential new clients, access
their needs, present product info and continuously follow-up.
Investigate and resolve customer questions with a high sense of
urgency.Travel extensively throughout assigned territory to meet
current and prospective customers soliciting orders. May also call
on customers via telephone or electronic platforms.Quote prices,
establish credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders
obtained.Facilitate product delivery to Fortune's customers based
on the company's production and delivery schedules.Conduct
marketing research and compile prospective customer lists
utilizing; personal networks, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook,
etc.), business directories, industry ads, trade shows, company
websites, and other sources.Prepare reports of business
transactions and generate expense reports.Collaborate with
Purchasing and Operations to ensure inventory levels meet customer
demand.Work to quote strategic pricing with guidance from the Sales
Manager and other senior sales staff. Perform other duties as
required by the Sales Manager. Minimum RequirementsExperience:
Minimum of 3 or plus years of outside sales experience selling
perishable food products - seafood experience highly preferred.
Education: Certification and/or degree preferred, but not
required.Communications: Have highly developed English verbal
communication skills. Personal Attributes: Be highly motivated,
personable and exhibit a history of successfully working in a high
paced environment. Must be a self-starter and quick study to learn
Fortune's products and operations rapidly.Travel: 25% travel
required. With a focus on the following territories Baton Rouge,
Mandeville, and Covington, LA.Any combination of the above criteria
